Refund Policy
This Refund Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Quirknet (Pty) Ltd (“Quirknet”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By purchasing any product or service from Quirknet, you (“the Client”, “you”, or “your”) agree to the terms set out below.

1. General Policy
Quirknet is committed to providing reliable connectivity and quality hardware. Refunds will only be granted under the following conditions:
1.1 The product received is not as advertised, or
1.2 The product is faulty or defective upon receipt.
Refunds will not be issued for:
  • Change-of-mind purchases;
  • Incorrect orders placed by the client;
  • Fibre or internet services once activation has been ordered; or
  • Delays or scheduling changes caused by network operators or installation partners.

2. Fibre Activation and Service Orders
2.1 Fibre activations and installations are strictly non-refundable, as once an order is submitted and payment is made to the network operator, Quirknet is billed immediately and our upstream providers do not issue refunds.
2.2 The only exception to this rule applies when a fibre installation or activation is found to be technically infeasible or not serviceable, even though the network operator’s portal initially reflected the address as fibre-ready or available.
2.3 In such cases, Quirknet will issue a full refund of the activation or installation fee once official confirmation of infeasibility is received in writing from the relevant network operator.

3. Refund Process
3.1 For eligible refunds, clients must notify Quirknet in writing within 7 (seven) calendar days of receiving the product or confirmation of infeasibility.
3.2 Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging, with proof of purchase.
3.3 Once Quirknet has received and inspected the returned product or verified the claim with the network operator, the refund will be processed.
3.4 Approved refunds will be processed within 14 (fourteen) working days from the date of approval.
3.5 Refunds will be made via the same payment method originally used, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Shipping and Handling
4.1 Shipping, handling, and courier costs are non-refundable, except in cases where the product was incorrectly supplied or confirmed as defective by Quirknet.
4.2 Clients are responsible for the cost of returning items unless Quirknet confirms fault on our part.

5. Faulty Products
5.1 Faulty or defective products must be reported within 7 (seven) calendar days of receipt.
5.2 Quirknet reserves the right to repair, replace, or refund the product at its sole discretion after inspection.

6. Limitation of Liability
Quirknet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from product defects, network delays, or refund processing times beyond those stated above.
